Please READ CAREFULLY these guidelines before submitting your books to us.

We are a small Canadian publishing house focusing in Quality books. We officially opened doors in February 2010.

As a small publishing house, we will be able to provide your work some things that a bigger publishing house sometimes is unable to. For one, while we are working on your book, we will edit and re-edit as many times as needed to get the book to the most perfect version of itself that it can be. We will develop a strong visual message to go with it -- including cover, interior illustrations and design. We will also send your book to reviewers, and do all follow-up necessary to ensure your book gets reviewed by the largest number of places. We will publicize your book in our website and other Social Networking media through notifications, book clips and other ways. We also will invite you to participate in our website projects, and we will eventually work with our marketing team to get your book more exposure via online means.

For this, we incur thousands of dollars of costs for each title we release, besides hours upon hours of relentless work.

All we ask in return is that you, as the author, also treat your manuscript with the same passion. You, too, must do your homework, have a proper marketing plan and course of action after the release of your book.

This is why our business model is more suited for an author who has an entrepreneurial spirit; someone who is not afraid to do the legwork or truly invest on the dream. We will provide you with a perfect product, some exposure and some tools, which you will need to use and expand upon, if your title is to be successful.

This is a partnership. We invest too much time and money on our titles, and we need to make sure your passion won't fizzle and die -- leaving us with titles which only sell a few dozen copies.

Now, regarding our books:

As a Canadian Publishing House, we depend on funding from the government, and there are certain guidelines we must stick by in order to receive these funds. For this reason, we do give preference to Canadian books -- but this is not the only determining factor we consider.

So, if you are in another country, but have something exceptional and that would match our core values, then please do not hesitate to send us your work.

Our focus is on children's books (from picture books to young adults) and educational books.

We are looking for:

• Picture Books and Young Readers
• How-To books on all subjects
• Educational subjects (from Elementary to High School material)
• Fiction, Fantasy & Sci-Fi for kids of all ages

Manuscripts must contain excellent, well-written, uplifting stories, independent of subject matter.

They may have cowboys, spaceships, ghosts, goats, vampires, explosions, fights, pets, special powers; as long as they are good, we are interested.

If you are submitting educational materials or How-To books, make sure you know your subject very well and that you are a teacher at heart.

Books can change people. Make sure the change you bring is positive.

Please make sure to polish your manuscript the best you can before submitting.

If your story is longer or shorter than the guidelines below, please keep in mind we will take any length into consideration. A well-written, good story is more important than a specific length.

Please allow 4-16 weeks for an editorial response to your submission. While we try to respond to every submission, due to an overwhelming response to our call to submissions, we have been experiencing some delays in this process.
